THREE AWARD WINNING NORTH WEST CHEFS GIDDY UP FOR CHARITY POLO DAY

Hospitality Action, the charity for those in the hospitality industry who have fallen on hard times, will hold its inaugural Charity Polo Day at the Cheshire Polo Club in Little Budworth on Sunday 25th June.

The event will be supported by three award winning North West chefs who will contribute towards a delicious three-course meal. They include: world renowned Andrew Nutter of Nutters Restaurant; Simon Shaw of El Gato Negro, whose restaurant was listed in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100 and is the only Manchester restaurant to receive a prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2017; and Sean Sutton, Head Chef at The Alderley Restaurant at the Alderley Edge Hotel, which boasts an impressive 3 AA Rosettes – one of the few places to hold this esteemed accolade in the North West.

The Polo Day, which is expected to attract some of the top talent in the industry, will begin with a Laurent-Perrier La Cuvee Champagne and canapé reception sponsored by Rodney Densem Wines Ltd and Cheeky Chilli Events, on the lawns of the prestigious Cheshire Polo Club, before lunch is prepared. Guests will then watch a fabulous fast paced polo match, The Henbury Cup, prior to ending the day with an afternoon cream tea in the marquee.

Attendees will also receive an Annual Social Membership Package for the Cheshire Polo Club, which includes entry for a car and up to four people to watch polo every weekend throughout the 2017 season, allows free entry to The Wirral Ladies and National 6 Goal Tournaments and is worth £50.

Penny Moore, Chief Executive of Hospitality Action said: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to hold a Polo Day in the North West this year, especially at such a stunning venue as Cheshire Polo Club. We’re hoping to replicate the success of our Polo Days in the South West and make it an annual event to add to our ever growing calendar of fundraising events in the North. With such a talented chef line up, I have no doubt we will – it’s set to be a fantastic day, full of food and fun. We encourage anyone in the hospitality industry (not just the North West) to come along, network with their colleagues and enjoy the great gastronomy and entertainment, all while raising money for a fantastic cause.”

The Charity Polo Day will help contribute to the record sum of money Hospitality Action is attempting to raise in its 180th year for those in the industry who have fallen on hard times. Here’s just one example of the type of people Hospitality Action helps: https://goo.gl/Jzs27c
