The Chefs’ Forum Wants YOUR News Please – Introducing Mark Taylor – Editor

Introducing Mark Taylor – Editor

Having written about the hospitality industry for both consumer and trade publications over the past 20 years, I appreciate more than many journalists the importance of forging closer links between the people who cook and serve great food with the diners paying for the privilege.

I have written for many newspapers and magazines in the past including The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Olive Magazine and Crumbs Magazine.

I’ve written about restaurants for national and regional newspapers and magazines since the 1990s, long before there was really any scene to speak of, and I’m excited about working for The Chefs’ Forum at a time when more people are dining out and more restaurants are opening around the UK.

I’m particularly pleased to be working with The Chefs’ Forum because I have watched it grow and grow since it first launched in Bristol. From one small local event, it has exploded into a national operation and it is well respected in the industry.

We want The Chefs’ Forum website to be the first port of call for chefs and restaurateurs, whether it’s as a platform for news, a place to advertise jobs or simply a site to enjoy in your down time between those long kitchen shifts.

I would love to hear from you if you have a recipe for our recipe page, a hot topic in hospitality that you feel passionately about or a useful tip you would like to share with other chefs.

Of course, it works both ways. We can’t spread your news if you don’t keep us informed so please keep sending your press releases and news so we can get the word out there for you.

Please email me your news: editor@redcherry.uk.com

Thank you.
