The Chefs’ Forum is delighted to introduce Manu Palomeque as its official photographer for the Kent & South East UK area.
Manu was originally trained at Southend Art School in 1982 where he studied graphic design and specialised in photography.
A bizarre life within the UK film industry led to him becoming a special-effects cameraman, working on numerous feature films and award-winning commercials. Following on from this, Manu held numerous positions within a whole variety of industry sectors including setting up and running many business ventures.
Manu is a specialist in food photography, chef show reels and restaurant taster films. Whether he is shooting a promotional video or Vox Pops, his core values remain the same; great composition, sound, lighting and narrative.
Most of Manu’s press work is distributed through London News Pictures and has appeared in numerous publications such as The Telegraph, The Independent, The Guardian, The Times, and Hello! magazine. Manu is also available to shoot events, PR and assignments.
Not only a great photographer, Manu also runs a small film production company called Pepper Films Ltd (www.pepperfilms.co.uk) where he produces high quality films using the latest in high definition equipment. Manu and his team are experienced in delivering films for broadcast, the internet, DVD or Blu-Ray. They pride themselves on being able to maintain excellent levels of quality whilst working to tight deadlines.
