Top chefs have joined forces with local catering colleges to create The Chefs’ Forum!
The Chefs’ Forum was born out of a desire to make a positive change in the hospitality industry. We connect Chefs with education, suppliers with Chefs and education with suppliers to help the industry unite and work towards the shared goal of showcasing the incredible talent we have here in industry!
Top chefs across the south of the UK (London to Cornwall, Wales to Kent and Birmingham!) have joined forces with local catering colleges to support the next generation of young chefs. To mentor, share ideas, motivate, and inspire the talent of tomorrow.
The Chefs’ Forum is also a networking group where all chef requirements are met; from sourcing the latest equipment to head hunting talent, but more than that it’s a place for us to communicate, share ideas and keep a finger on the pulse of the latest trends in hospitality.
The Chefs’ Forum is made up of chefs whose professional expertise has been recognised in the acquisition of prestigious ‘foodie’ accolades including Michelin Stars, AA Rosettes and Good Food Guide cooking scores.
The Chefs’ Forum is run and coordinated by Catherine Farinha and Alexandra Duncan – Specialist Food PR Professionals – The initiative started in Bristol in 2010.
This resource harnesses all of the great culinary talent in the various regions and makes for a hub of excellence which benefits all involved. Best practice, industry knowledge and contacts will be shared among the group enhancing the UK food scene, making an even more powerful and exemplary force than it is at present!
Member Benefit offers from suppliers are welcomed and will be displayed on the ‘Member Benefits’ page of this website. If you are a supplier wishing to get involved in working with The Chefs’ Forum, please get in touch here.
The Chefs’ Forum should also be treated as a resource bank for apprentices and work experience candidates. Please get in touch here if you are seeking an apprentice.
If you would like to become a member of the forum please get in touch here.
We look forward to hearing from you!
